Ulrich Seega
SANDPartners was founded by Ulrich Seega, an experienced leadership coach and executive search consultant.
Ulrich works internationally and in the UK with leaders, investors, and their teams when it comes to performance, change, cultural complexities, and career transition.
A sports scientist by background, Ulrich has coached, hired and advised leaders and professional athletes across many sectors, and in companies ranging from start-ups to the FTSE 100.
Earlier in his career, Ulrich trained special forces and presented sports news live on radio. He has built his philosophy on compassion, collaboration, powerful strategy, and resilient execution.
Ulrich is an IESE Business School certified Leadership Coach and holds a degree in Sports & Science (major in Media & Communications) from German Sport University Cologne.
First Time CEO
Situation: The founder had done it all; left his mid-management role to become CEO and founder, grew the company to 45 people, sold to clients, put processes in place and raised capital.
He was excited and overwhelmed at the same time. He was full of ideas but with all the noise around him, he found it increasingly difficult to balance priorities. The lack of time had long pushed the opportunity for personal development to one side.
He could not scale the company further without scaling himself.
